Khanh Hoa welcomes over 22.5 million visitors in 10 months, driven by a 66.6% surge in international arrivals
As Khanh Hoa records over 7.8 million international arrivals in the first ten months of 2026 and advances strategic destination planning for the 2026–2030 period, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company (CRTC) synchronizes its terminal management and operational capacity to support the expanding influx of global travelers.
According to figures released by the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on October 29, the province welcomed an estimated 2 million visitors in October 2026 alone—2.3 times higher than the same period last year—generating 4,338 billion VND in tourism revenue, an increase of over 21%, with average room occupancy reaching approximately 49.3%. To sustain this trajectory, in October 2026, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism advised the Provincial People's Committee on issuing an Action Program to implement Politburo Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector, while consolidating the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee. Concurrently, authorities finalized the dossier proposing national recognition for the Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula National Tourist Area and formulated the International Tourist Market Development Plan for the 2026–2030 period. Institutional enhancements also include building a Destination Management Organization (DMO) model project for 2027–2030, alongside finalizing draft support policies and development projects for community-based tourism for 2026–2030. Furthermore, the province accelerated digital transformation and green transition by officially certifying three properties—Champa Island Nha Trang, The Anam Cam Ranh, and Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang—under the Khanh Hoa Green Tourism Standards, while engaging directly with 40 tourism enterprises to evaluate Q4 growth scenarios and deploy targeted market solutions.

The nearly 66.6% expansion in international arrivals, combined with the strategic elevation of the Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula National Tourist Area and Q4 growth initiatives, places high demands on regional aviation connectivity and ground infrastructure. Managing and operating Cam Ranh International Terminal, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company (CRTC) aligns its slot coordination, ground handling workflows, and commercial service ecosystems with the province's 2026–2030 international market development roadmap. Through modernized terminal facilities and high-capacity customs and immigration processing lanes, CRTC ensures seamless, efficient transit operations to accommodate the rising volume of international flights and passengers arriving in Khanh Hoa.
