Kaunas Airport (KUN) is serving the country's second largest city and the wider Central Lithuania region, providing airlines with access to one of the largest catchment areas in the Baltic States.
Kaunas Airport was the first airport in Lithuania to recover its pre-pandemic passenger traffic, achieving this milestone in 2022.
2025 was a landmark year for Kaunas Airport: passenger traffic reached a record 1.6 million, representing 12% growth compared with 2024. Flight movements also increased by 8%, reflecting sustained demand and continued network growth.
The positive trend has continued into 2026. During the first six months of the year, Kaunas Airport welcomed more than 813,000 passengers, representing 6.2% growth compared with the same period in 2025, while flight movements increased by 0.8%.
