Dublin Airport's Aviation Marketing team received an award this week which recognised the quality of their efforts to market Dublin Airport when the team was Highly Commended at the annual Routes Europe conference in Prague.

Dublin Airport's Aviation Marketing team received an award this week which recognised the quality of their efforts to market Dublin Airport when the team was Highly Commended at the annual Routes Europe conference in Prague.
The overall marketing winner for Western Europe was given to the team from Brussels Airport but Dublin's efforts saw them highly commended to beat aviation marketing teams from all over Europe including airports in the UK, France and Holland.
"This really is a significant achievement as we were competing with major airports like Schiphol in Amsterdam. The award is also very satisfying as the award was voted on by airlines. So the vote was from our customers, those that we have, those that we are looking for, and those that left us," said Cormac O'Connell, the Head of Aviation Marketing at Dublin Airport.
Aviation Marketing Manager Mark Evenden was on hand in Prague to receive the award on behalf of the Dublin Airport team.
