daa Welcomes Ryanair Announcement Of Largest Ever Dublin Airport Summer Programme
daa has welcomed the announcement by Ryanair today of its largest ever summer schedule from Dublin Airport which will see 120 destinations and over 900 weekly flights available from the country’s busiest and best-connected airport this summer.
Ryanair will also increase its investment at Dublin Airport with the delivery of an additional aircraft, bringing to 33 the number of aircraft at its Dublin base this summer. Eleven new summer routes will be on offer from Dublin Airport this summer versus last year, on the strength of enhanced traffic recovery incentive schemes for its airline customers like Ryanair who are looking to grow their business at Dublin Airport.
Dalton Philips, daa CEO, welcomed today’s announcement by Ryanair saying:

Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Hildegarde Naughton T.D. said:
“Government funding of €160m to our airports in recent months including over €97m to Dublin Airport has put daa in a position to offer attractive incentives to their airline partners and this announcement by Ryanair represents the fruits of that. The restoration and growth of the route network out of Dublin Airport this summer is welcome news as we rebuild the international connectivity stymied by the global pandemic.”

I appreciate that this has been an onerous task at times, especially when considering the impact that these necessary measures have had on the aviation industry.
