Norwegian: new flights to Norway and Denmark

The Norwegian airline Norwegian will be expanding its summer schedule from Berlin-Schoenefeld by adding three new destinations: Sandefjord-Torp and Trondheim in Norway will be new stops from March 2012. From May 2012, passengers from Berlin will be able to fly directly to Aalborg in Denmark.

Norwegian flights will be taking off for Sandefjord-Torp every Monday and Friday from 26 March 2012. Take-off in Schoenefeld will be at 9.00am, landing at the destination at 10.35am. The return flight leaves at 6.55am and lands in Berlin at 8.30am. The Sandefjord-Torp airport is about 120 kilometres south of Oslo. Sandefjord is in the Telemark region, which features Skagerrak and Europe’s largest high plateau.

Trondheim, the third-largest city in Norway, will be the destination for flights on Wednesdays and Sundays beginning on 28 March 2012. The flights will leave Berlin at 1.05pm and arrive at 3.05pm. The return flights leave at 10.35am and land in Berlin at 12.35pm. Trondheim’s most interesting sights include the Nidaros Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and the Ringve Museum for Music.
