Non-stop from Berlin to Barcelona and Bilbao with Vueling

On 25 March 2012, Spanish low-cost airline Vueling will start operating daily flights from Berlin-Tegel to Barcelona, the Spanish metropolis on the Mediterranean Sea. An Airbus A320 will depart from Tegel daily at 2.50 p.m. (as of 3 June, from BER), landing in Barcelona at 5.20 p.m. The flight from Barcelona will depart at 11.25 a.m., arriving in Tegel at 2.10 p.m.

As of 23 June 2012, Vueling will also operate three weekly flights from the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport to Bilbao, the port city in the Basque country. Vueling will launch the new flights in the summer season.

The Airbus A320 flights to Bilbao will also depart every Monday and Wednesday at 6.55 p.m. from the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport, arriving in Bilbao at 9.25 p.m. Vueling flights from Bilbao will depart on the same days at 3.50 p.m., landing in Berlin at 6.15 p.m. A third flight will depart from BER Airport every Saturday at 7.30 p.m., arriving in Bilbao at 10 p.m. The Saturday flight from Bilbao will leave at 4.25 p.m. and land at BER at 6.50 p.m.

Bilbao is situated in the north of Green Spain on the River Nervión, not far from the Atlantic coast. Besides a small, typically Spanish old town with narrow alleyways, the city has plenty to offer culturally with its numerous bars, concerts and events. The city's famous biggest architectural attraction is the Guggenheim Museum with its avant-garde facade.

Vueling was established in 2004 and currently operates a fleet of 42 Airbus A320 aircraft (127–180 seats). The airline serves over 40 centrally located, major airports in Europe and North Africa. Vueling is based at Barcelona Airport.
