Palanga Airport (PLQ) is Lithuania's third-largest international airport, serving the country's Baltic Sea coast and the wider Western Lithuania region. Strategically located near Klaipėda – Lithuania's only seaport – the airport also serves passengers from neighbouring Latvia, providing airlines with access to a cross-border catchment area.
2025 was a record year for Palanga Airport, with passenger traffic reaching almost 448,4 thousand, representing 18.7% growth compared with 2024. The airport also recorded an 86% average load factor, supported by strong demand across its year-round and seasonal network.
The positive trend has continued into 2026. During the first six months of the year, Palanga Airport welcomed more than 211,000 passengers, representing 3.2% growth compared with the same period in 2025, while flight movements increased by 2.9%.
