Getting to Aarhus

As Official Carrier of Routes Europe 2024, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is operating a number of additional flights and increased capacity on all routes between its Nordic hubs and Aarhus, enabling smooth connections for Routes Europe delegates. 

SAS is offering optimised, best fare availability throughout the Routes Europe travelling period on all flights between the three SAS hubs and Aarhus, as well as for connecting-flight itineraries from around mainland Europe, the UK, Ireland, Asia, Canada and the USA. Additional flights added

  • SAS is operating up to 7 flights per day between Copenhagen and Aarhus during Routes Europe (for connections via CPH).
  • Additional flights between Oslo and Aarhus (for connections via OSL).
  • Additional flights between Stockholm Arlanda and Aarhus (for connections via ARN).

Connections

  • SAS & partner connections – When connecting from SAS-to-SAS and SAS partner airlines at Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm, there is no need to re-check your bags. Your luggage will transfer directly.
  • Self-connecting between airlines at Copenhagen – For those travelling without checked luggage, there is a short gate-gate-transfer where checked-in. For those re-checking luggage, all passengers departing on SAS flights to Aarhus may use both Fast-Track lanes at security and/or the dedicated SAS Fast-Track security channel (upper level at Terminal 3).

Airport transfers

  • Complimentary airport transfers between Aarhus Airport and Aarhus city centre and hotels will be available on arrival and departure throughout the event. Simply contact the Routes Europe 2024 welcome desk on arrival at Aarhus Airport, after border control, baggage reclaim and customs.

Other direct flight options to Aarhus include Ryanair with direct service from points in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Latvia and Poland operating throughout the Routes Europe 2024 travelling period. BRA (Braathens Regional Airlines) offers direct service to Aarhus from Stockholm (Bromma) and Norwegian flies direct from Spain.
