Flying Direct to Rimini
Rimini and San Marino International Airport “Federico Fellini” is a key driver of tourism development in the area. The airport has recently launched a wealth of new routes, including London Gatwick Airport, London Heathrow Airport, Barcelona El Prat Airport, and EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg.
British Airways has adjusted its schedule from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to support Routes Europe 2026 delegates:
- 16 May to Rimini – Depart LHR at 7:10 am
- 17 May to Rimini - Depart LHR at 11:15 am
- 18 May to Rimini - Depart LHR at 15:35 pm
- 21 May to London - Depart RMI at 11:25 am

Discounted Train Services
Thanks to Trenitalia's “Speciale Eventi” Offer, valid until June 30, 2027, you can reach Rimini (including Rimini Fiera) aboard Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, Frecciabianca, Intercity, and Intercity Notte trains (for direct or connecting journeys).
The “Speciale Eventi” Offer allows you to purchase tickets with a discount ranging from 20% to 75% off the full base price on Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, and Frecciabianca trains in Business, Premium, and Standard service levels, in 1st and 2nd class, and from 20% to 75% on Intercity and Intercity Notte trains in 1st and 2nd class, in couchette and sleeper services.
The offer is valid for journeys from two days before to two days after the date of each event.
The number of seats available for the offer is limited and varies depending on the day, train, and class or service level. At the time of purchase, the system always offers the best available price. This offer cannot be combined with other discounts or offers of any kind, except for those available for children.
How to access the promotion
The offer can be redeemed until midnight on the third day before train departure on the Trenitalia.com website, the Trenitalia app, ticket offices, and authorized travel agencies.
For purchases on the Trenitalia.com website and app:
1. Select the outward or return journey to Rimini or Riminifiera
2. Select "See other offers" and, from the drop-down menu in the "Offer" section, choose "Speciale Eventi"
3. Enter the "IEG" code in the "Agreement Code" box
4. Select "Confirm"
5. Follow the same procedure for the return journey
To redeem the offer, you must show your downloadable credential at the time of purchase (exclusively at manned channels such as station ticket offices and Trenitalia partner travel agencies) and on board the train during ticket inspection.

From Bologna to Rimini

Bologna to Rimini Train Service
Delegates travelling to Rimini via Bologna Centrale station can enjoy a smooth journey with up to 24 trains running every day (approximately every 30 minutes) from 6:34 am to 11:39 pm.
- Getting to Bologna Marconi train station: Take the Marconi Express train from Bologna Airport. This is clearly signposted and accessible by tap on/tap off card payment.
- Access a high-speed train to Rimini: Average 53 minutes journey time
- Price: From approximately €11. Booking in advance is recommended, especially during peak tourist season
Bologna Airport to Rimini Shuttle Discount
Routes Europe 2026 delegates can enjoy a 10% discount on one-way tickets between Bologna Airport and Rimini Station. We will share the discount code with delegates once received.
With a prior booking of at least 24 hours, guests will be able to reach their hotel using a combined door-to-door service from Bologna Airport to Rimini hotels. Please select “Bologna Airport” as the departure point and “Rimini Sea Area” as the arrival destination.
From Milano to Rimini
Travelling into Milan Malpensa Aiprort:
- Take the Malpensa Express train to Milano Centrale railway station
- Access a direct service to Rimini (2 hour journey)
Travelling into Milan Linate Airport:
- Take the Linate shuttle bus to Milano Centrale railway station

From Rome to Rimini
If you are travelling into Roma Fiumicino Airport, you can access high speed trains from Roma Termini railway station:
- Take the Leonardo Express train to Roma Termini railway station
- Access a train service to Bologna (2 hour journey)
- Change service from Bologna direct to Rimini (2 hour journey)

Whilst official return transfers will be provided from Rimini and Bologna airports, in addition to core event venues, our hosts have recommended a private car company which have offered set rates for delegates.
