Complimentary public transport pass
To help us plan Routes World registration locations and timings effectively, we kindly ask all attendees to complete a brief travel information survey.
For Routes World, delegates will have exclusive access to complimentary RMV public transportation passes during their stay in Frankfurt. This will allow access to the efficient and reliable rail service in and around Frankfurt City Centre, Messe Frankfurt, and to/from Frankfurt Airport.
At Frankfurt Airport there will be a Routes Welcome Area with staff who will be on hand to provide any assistance. Look out for the Routes branded Welcome Desks and staff in Routes t-shirts after you come through arrivals.
How will I receive my RMV pass?
Passes will be sent to registered delegates one week before Routes World, along with their Routes Delegate Badge Voucher.
These will be sent via email to the address provided during registration from [email protected]
When are the RMV passes valid?
Passes are valid from Monday 19 October – Friday 23 October (inclusive).
Can I use my Routes delegate badge for complimentary travel?
No, you must download the RMV ticket which will be sent in the same email as your Delegate Badge Voucher. Routes or Informa cannot accept any liability for any fines imposed for not displaying the correct ticket.
How do I use the ticket?
You will receive a ticket valid between 19–23 October. This has a scannable QR code which must be presented if requested by an official on the RMV. RMV in Frankfurt does not use physical ticket barriers, turnstiles, or gates at stations; proof of tickets may be checked during random inspections. Routes or Informa cannot accept any liability for any fines imposed for not displaying the correct ticket provided, or for travel outside of the ticket validity.
Where can I use the ticket?
The ticket can be used from the airport on the S-Bahn. Passes are also valid on the S-Bahn and U-Bahn to/from Frankfurt City Centre and to/from Messe Frankfurt.

What if I am travelling outside of the validity of the complimentary RMV passes?
The passes cover the arrival and key event days of our event (valid between 19–23 October, inclusive). If you are travelling outside of this period, the passes can be purchased easily on the RMV website or the RMV App. A journey from central Frankfurt to the Messe is EUR3.80 for a single trip, or central Frankfurt to Frankfurt Airport is EUR6.90.
