Malaysia Airlines De-hubs Kota Kinabalu from Jan 2012

Malaysia Airlines confirmed the plan to de-hub Kota Kinabalu, where most of its international service will be scrapped starting January 2012 gradually.

Cancelled Routes and effective date as follows:

Kota Kinabalu – Osaka Kansai eff 06JAN12
Kota Kinabalu – Kuching eff 30JAN12
Kota Kinabalu – Perth eff 31JAN12
Kota Kinabalu – Tokyo Haneda eff 01FEB12
Kota Kinabalu – Seoul Incheon eff 21FEB12

These services are currently operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft
