BIMAN Bangladesh Airlines W13 Operation Changes as of 24JUN13: FINAL DC10 Service Scheduled in Dec 2013

As per 24JUN13 GDS timetable/inventory display, BIMAN Bangladesh Airlines has updated its planned Winter 2013/14 schedule, from 01DEC13. The new schedule sees the retirement of DC10, which final flight tentatively scheduled on 01DEC13. The airline is to receive additional 2 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft during this season. Planned changes as follow.

BIMAN, the sole operator of the tri-engine aircraft, plans to end DC10 passenger operation on 01DEC13 tentatively. Tentatively scheduled FINAL DC10 service on following routes are:
Dhaka – Chittagong – Abu Dhabi 30NOV13 (AUH departure 01DEC13, operating Abu Dhabi – Sylhet – Dhaka)
Dhaka – Chittagong – Dubai 27NOV13 (DXB departure 28NOV13)
Dhaka – Chittagong – Muscat 27NOV13 (MCT departure 28NOV13)
Dhaka – Hong Kong 29NOV13
Dhaka – Kuala Lumpur 30NOV13

Planned FINAL DC10 operation is subject to change, pending on the delivery of additional Boeing 777-300ER.
