UNI Air Ends Scheduled Jet Operation on Taiwan Domestic Routes from Jan 2014

Taiwanese carrier UNI Air on 31DEC13 has ended scheduled Jet operation on its Taiwan Domestic routes, according to its schedule listing. From 01JAN14, UNI Air’s domestic service is operated by the new ATR72-600 turboprop, as well as Dash8-Q300. The latter is also being gradually phased out and replaced by the new ATRs.

The airline’s domestic operation in January 2014 as follow.

Chiayi – Kinmen 7 weekly AT7
Chiayi – Makung 7 weekly DH3
Kaohsiung – Kinmen 27 weekly AT7
Kaohsiung – Makung 14 weekly DH3
Taichung – Kinmen 42 weekly AT7
Taichung – Makung 21 weekly DH3
Taichung – Matzu Nangan 4 weekly DH3
Tainan – Kinmen 20 weekly AT7
Tainan – Makung 14 weekly AT7
Taipei Song Shan – Hengchun 2 weekly DH3
Taipei Song Shan – Kinmen 62 weekly AT7
Taipei Song Shan – Makung 18 weekly DH3
Taipei Song Shan – Matzu Beigan 21 weekly DH3
Taipei Song Shan – Matzu Nangan 42 weekly EQV (39 weekly DH3 / 3 weekly AT7)
Taipei Song Shan – Taitung 28 weekly EQV (25 weekly AT7 / 3 weekly DH3)

The airline’s Jet aircraft, MD90, continues to operate International service as well as selected EVA Air flights. During Lunar Chinese New Year, MD90 is scheduled to operate following one-time service on domestic flights:
