IBERIA Adds New Routes in S15

IBERIA, including IBERIA Express, is introducing a number of European routes, which some of them are service resumption. Planned operation as follow.

IBERIA Mainline:
Madrid – Budapest eff 02JUN15 3 weekly
Madrid – Catania eff 20JUN15 1 weekly (up to 3-4 weekly in July/August, including IBERIA Regional service, until 12SEP15)
Madrid – Florence eff 29MAR15 6 weekly
Madrid – Funchal eff 04JUL15 2 weekly (5 weekly from 26JUL15 to 29AUG15, including IBERIA Regional service, until 12SEP15)
Madrid – Hamburg eff 30MAR15 4 weekly
Madrid – Palermo eff 23JUN15 1 weekly (until 08SEP15)

IBERIA Express service:
Asturias – Tenerife North eff 31MAR15 3 weekly
Madrid – Edinburgh eff 29MAR15 4 weekly (6 weekly from 20JUL15 to 06SEP15)
Madrid – Naples eff 01JUN15 3 weekly (4 weekly from 29JUN15 to 06SEP15)
Madrid – Verona eff 02JUN15 3 weekly

Following route is mentioned in the airline’s press release, however it is not appearing in the GDS at present time:
Madrid – London Gatwick
Madrid – Manchester
Madrid – Paris CDG


ASM 25 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TRAINING EVENT – LONDON 4-5 DECEMBER

ASM PurpleASM is hosting a special training event in December to mark its 25th anniversary in route development. The two-day event will play host to an impressive line-up of senior airline, airport and Industry speakers around the theme of 'If route development was perfect, what would it look like?'. 

Speakers include:

  • Leon Verhallen, head of aviation development, Brussels Airport 
  • Laurie Berryman, former meneral manager UK and Ireland, Emirates.
