Canadian North Ottawa – Iqaluit Service Changes from Sep 2015

Canadian North starting this week begins Boeing 737-300 operation on Ottawa – Iqaluit route, on 2 of 7 weekly flights. First Boeing 737-300 flight was operated on 08SEP15, mainly operating on Mondays and Fridays. This represents a capacity increase, as the 737-300 carries 136, while current 737-200COMBI operating on this route is mostly 76-seater (Fall/Winter schedule).

Note the carrier has ended codeshare operation with First Air on this route, and switching back to its original schedule with morning departure from Ottawa, afternoon departure from Iqaluit. This went into effect within the last 2 weeks.
