JAL Outlines J-Air Embraer E170/190 Operations in S16

JAL yesterday (21JAN16) has gradually updated its inventory for summer 2016 season for domestic market, which sees the Embraer E190 aircraft scheduled to enter operation on 10MAY16. The Embraer E190 will be operated by J-Air, featuring dual class cabin.

eff 10MAY16 Osaka Itami – Kagoshima 4 of 7 daily
eff 01JUL16 Osaka Itami – Fukuoka 1 of 4 daily (until 31AUG16)
eff 01JUL16 Osaka Itami – Sendai 3 of 7 daily (From 01SEP16, overall service reduces from 7 to 6 daily, however all flights will be operated by E190)

The Embraer E190 will be replacing flights currently operated by E170.

Additionally following routes will be operated by Embraer E170 exclusively, instead of a mix of E170 and CRJ200:
eff 27MAR16 Osaka Itami – Hanamaki
eff 27MAR16 Osaka Itami – Nagasaki
eff 01SEP16 Osaka Itami – Kumamoto
eff 01SEP16 Osaka Itami – Oita

Following routes will be operated by Embraer E170 exclusively, replacing CRJ200:
eff 27MAR16 Sapporo Chitose – Akita
eff 01MAY16 Sapporo Chitose – Hanamaki

Embraer E170 aircraft will begin operating selected service on following routes, replacing CRJ200:
eff 27MAR16 Osaka Itami – Matsuyama 1 of 3 daily
eff 01SEP16 Osaka Itami – Akita 1 of 3 daily

Planned Embraer E170 and E190 operations remain subject to change, including last-minute aircraft swap.
