KLM S17 Long-Haul Operation Changes as of 21MAR16

In the week of 20MAR16’s OAG Schedules Analyser update, KLM has started updating Summer 2017 operational schedule on long-haul routes, until 20APR17 inclusive. Significant changes for the month of April 2017 (26MAR17 – 20APR17) as follow.

Amsterdam – Abu Dhabi – Muscat Airbus A330-300 replaces 787-9, 1 daily
Amsterdam – Beijing Boeing 787-9 enters operation on 26MAR17, operating 3 of 7 weekly flights, replacing 747-400COMBI (74E)
Amsterdam – Calgary Boeing 787-9 operates 6 weekly, 777-200ER 1 weekly, replacing A330-200/-300 in S16
Amsterdam – Edmonton April 2017 sees 4 weekly flights, compared to 3 in April 2016. Airbus A330-300 replaces -200
Amsterdam – Havana 6th weekly flight, to be introduced from 06JAN17, is being extended into April 2017. A330-200 and -300 operates 3 weekly flights each
Amsterdam – Lagos 5 of 7 weekly flights operated by A330-300, instead of 777-200ER
Amsterdam – Los Angeles Service operates 13 weekly in April 2017, compared to 11 in April 2016
Amsterdam – Osaka Kansai Daily 787-9 operation, replacing mix of 777-200ER and 787-9
Amsterdam – Salt Lake City Summer operation begins from 27MAR17, 3 weekly A330-300, replacing -200 in S16
Amsterdam – San Francisco KL605/606 operates with 777-300ER 6 times a week, -200ER once a week (replacing 747-400 in S16; Overall service 9 weekly in April 2017)
Amsterdam – Seoul Incheon Boeing 787-9 enters operation on 27MAR17, 3 weekly for April 2017 (Overall 3 weekly 789, 2 weekly each 744 and 74E)
Amsterdam – Shanghai Pu Dong KL895/896 operates with 777-300ER 5 times a week, -200ER 2 times a week (KL893/894 2 weekly 74E)
Amsterdam – Tokyo Narita Service operates with 777-300ER 4 times a week, -200ER 3 times a week
Amsterdam – Toronto Service operates 11 weekly with 777-200ER, instead of 10 weekly 747-400COMBI/777-200ER in April 2016

Additional changes will be gradually reflected in the OAG, as well as reservation systems on weekly basis.
