US Airways Las Vegas Cuts: 12 cities dropped

US Airways’ flight cuts at Las Vegas is the following, as per 31OCT09 GDS timetable display.  The list pretty much reflects what was being announced in general earlier this week.

Note some of the following routes may have been adjusted weeks prior to the announcement but is still listed to provide a general idea on the scale of these cuts.  In particular, ALL service to Canada (3 cities) will be cancelled, as well as 8 other US domestic cities.  By 10FEB10, US Airways’ Daily departures at Las Vegas is being reduced from 64 to 36.  Routes with no changes in frequencies are not mentioned below.

Las Vegas – Fresno Reduced from 2 to 1 Daily eff 17DEC09
Las Vegas – Ft. Lauderdale CANCELLED eff 11FEB10 (currently 1 Daily)
Las Vegas – Los Angeles Service adjustment. eff 04JAN10 5 Daily MAINLINE A319 replace 2 Daily MAINLINE and 4 Daily Express
Las Vegas – Minneapolis TEMPORARY SUSPENSION 01DEC09 to 03JAN10
Las Vegas – Orlando CANCELLED eff 11FEB10 (currently 1 Daily)
Las Vegas – Sacramento CANCELLED eff 02DEC09 (currently 2 Daily)
