Korean Air S17 International changes as of 03JAN17

Korean Air today made an additional update to its planned summer 2017 operation on international routes, including a Boeing 787-9 operation, as well as an extended Boeing 747-400 service. As of 03JAN17, planned changes are as follows.

Seoul Gimpo – Shanghai Hongqiao 29SEP17 – 10OCT17 Boeing 747-400 replaces 777-200ER
Seoul Incheon – Amsterdam eff 03JUN17 Planned increase from 4 to 5 weekly, will be expanded to 6 weekly (Day x3). A330-200 service
Seoul Incheon – Auckland
26MAR17 – 31MAY17 Boeing 777-300ER replaces -200ER, 4 weekly
Seoul Incheon – Beijing
25JUN17 – 30AUG17 Boeing 747-400 to operate 4 weekly round-trip flights
eff 02AUG17 Boeing 787-9 to operate 4 weekly round-trip flights

Seoul Incheon – Hong Kong Latest schedule update sees a mix of 747-400 / 747-8I / 777-200ER / 777-300ER / A330-300 operating 4 daily flights. 747-400 is scheduled on this route until 29JUL17
Seoul Incheon – Istanbul Ataturk Service operates 3 weekly A330-200 for entire summer season, instead of 777-200ER. The airline also previously scheduled 5 weekly flights from 26MAR17 to 31JUL17
Seoul Incheon – Madrid eff 01AUG17 Boeing 787-9 replaces 777-300ER, 3 weekly
Seoul Incheon – Rome 24SEP17 – 14OCT17 Boeing 747-8I replaces 777-300ER, 6 weekly
Seoul Incheon – St. Petersburg 16JUN17 – 09SEP17 Increase from 3 to 5 weekly, A330-300 operating during this period
Seoul Incheon – Sydney eff 01SEP17 Boeing 747-8I replaces A330-300, 1 daily
Seoul Incheon – Taipei Taoyuan eff 26MAR17 KE693/694 operates with a mix of A330, Boeing 737-800/-900ER, 777-200ER, instead of all-A330 service
Seoul Incheon – Tokyo Narita eff 26MAR17 Reservation for KE701/702 is no longer available. Overall service reduces from 4 to 3 daily
Seoul Incheon – Zurich eff 03OCT17 Boeing 787-9 replaces A330-200, 3 weekly
