Norwegian moves 737MAX 8 inaugural to mid-July 2017

Norwegian on Wednesday (07JUN17) made further changes to its planned Boeing 737MAX 8 operation (operated by Norwegian Air International; D8 7M8). Due to the latest delivery delay to late-June 2017, the airline has now scheduled its first 737MAX 8 revenue service for mid-July 2017.

The planned new Trans-Atlantic routes launch by 737MAX 8, will be operated by 737-800 instead until 31AUG17, except selected routes. Updated 737MAX 8 operational frequencies are as follows.

eff 15JUL17 Edinburgh – Oslo 1 daily (Inaugural 737MAX 8 flight; Previously scheduled from 21JUN17)
eff 15JUL17 Belfast International – Newburgh Stewart 3 weekly
eff 15JUL17 Edinburgh – Hartford 3 weekly
eff 16JUL17 Dublin – Newburgh Stewart 4 of 7 weekly (All 7 weekly by 737MAX 8 from 01SEP17)
eff 16JUL17 Edinburgh – Newburgh Stewart 4 of 7 weekly (All 7 weekly by 737MAX 8 from 01SEP17)
eff 01SEP17 Dublin – Providence 5 weekly
eff 01SEP17 Bergen – Newburgh Stewart 2 weekly
eff 01SEP17 Edinburgh – Providence 4 weekly
eff 01SEP17 Shannon – Providence 2 weekly
eff 02SEP17 Belfast International – Providence 2 weekly (summer seasonal service)
eff 02SEP17 Bergen – Providence 2 weekly
eff 02SEP17 Cork – Providence 3 weekly
eff 02SEP17 Shannon – Newburgh Stewart 2 weekly
