Air Canada W17 London service changes from Atlantic Canada

Air Canada in a recent schedule update adjusted its planned UK service from Atlantic Canada, including Halifax and St. John’s (Newfoundland), for the winter 2017/18 season.

Overall service for the St. John’s – London Heathrow route will be reduced from three to two weekly, however operational aircraft will switch from Airbus A319 to Boeing 767. The previously scheduled four times weekly Halifax – London Heathrow flights for the winter season, will see two weekly flights operating as the Halifax – St. John’s – London Heathrow route.

This marks the first return of Air Canada’s widebody service for the St. John’s – London Heathrow sector since September 2006.
