Germania expands Egypt service in W17

Germania in winter 2017 season plans to expand service to Egypt, with the offering of 7 new/resumed routes to Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Sharm el Sheikh. Planned service as follow.

Berlin Schoenefeld – Sharm el Sheikh eff 20OCT17 1 weekly 737-700 (Day 5; Previously reported)
Bremen – Sharm el Sheikh eff 03NOV17 1 weekly A319 (Day 5)
Dresden – Sharm el Sheikh eff 06NOV17 1 weekly 737-700 (Day 1)
Hamburg – Sharm el Sheikh eff 03NOV17 1 weekly A319 (Day 5)
Muenster – Hurghada eff 02NOV17 1 weekly A319 (Day 4; This route was suspended in winter 2016/17 season)
Nuremberg – Marsa Alam eff 02NOV17 1 weekly A319 (Day 4)
Nuremberg – Sharm el Sheikh eff 06NOV17 1 weekly A319 (Day 1)


ASM PurpleASM is hosting a special training event in December to mark its 25th anniversary in route development. The two-day event will play host to an impressive line-up of senior airline, airport and Industry speakers around the theme of 'If route development was perfect, what would it look like?'. 

Speakers include:

  • Laurie Berryman, former meneral manager UK and Ireland, Emirates.
