AIA's Passenger traffic development

 During August, the airport’s passengers reached 2.15 million, corresponding to an increase of 19.3% compared to prior-year levels. Domestic passengers rose at a pace similar to the previous summer months (+23.9%), while international passengers increased by 17.1%.In total, Greek travellers demonstrated an increase of almost 5%, while foreign visitors enjoyed a rise of 26%.

 Overall, during the period January-August, the airport’s traffic reached 12.3 million passengers, surpassing prior-year levels by 22.1%, with domestic travellers increasing by 26.1% and international passengers by 19.9%. Greek travellers demonstrated a rise of 14%, while foreign visitors grew by 28%.
