Passenger Traffic Development - July 2016

 The airport’s passenger traffic during July amounted to 2.37 million passengers, exceeding the respective 2015 levels by 11%. Both domestic and international passengers demonstrated strong increase of 9.7% and 11.7% respectively. Greek residents continued their positive development, enjoying an increase at the level of 20%, while foreign residents also showed a robust increase of 8%.

 Overall, during the period January to July 2016, the airport’s passenger traffic exceeded 11 million (+9.4%), with domestic passengers growing by 12.4% and international travellers by 7.6%. Both Greek and foreign travellers enjoyed an increase at the level of 15% and 6% respectively.
