In November a total of 1,587,525 passengers travelled through Oslo Airport. This was 114,663 or 7.8% more than in November 2009. This was also 0.5% more than in November 2007, which held the previous passenger record for November.
On international routes traffic increased by 70,183 passengers or 10.1%, and on domestic routes passenger figures increased by 44,480 or 5.7 %. The number of aircraft movements for November was 18,654. This was 477 or 2.6% more than in November last year.
So far this year, the number of passengers travelling through OSL has increased by 888,906 or 5.3%. The number of aircraft movements has increased by 796 or 0.4%.
The market is continuing to grow. We expect to reach more than 19 million passengers this year, says Knut Stabæk, Marketing Manager for Traffic Development. If it wasn't for the volcanic ash problems during the spring, OSL would have achieved record numbers of passengers in 2010.
