Ethiopian adds Jakarta; Manila service changes in S18

Ethiopian Airlines last week opened reservation for its planned service to Jakarta, as 3 of 7 weekly Addis Ababa – Bangkok service extends to Jakarta. Boeing 787-8 will operate this route from 17JUL18. The airline does not have local traffic rights on Bangkok – Jakarta sector, and overall service remains unchanged at 7 weekly.

Separately, the airline’s planned Addis Ababa – Hong Kong – Manila service will see 3 weekly flights, instead of previously scheduled 4. Service commences on 01JUN18 with no local traffic rights on Hong Kong – Manila sector. Overall service to Hong Kong remains unchanged at 7 weekly (4 weekly nonstop Addis Ababa – Hong Kong, 3 weekly via Bangkok)
