Qantas resumes Sapporo service from Dec 2019

Qantas Airways last week announced planned service resumption to Hokkaido, subject to Government Approval. From 16DEC19, Airbus A330-200 aircraft will operate Sydney – Sapporo New Chitose route on seasonal basis, 3 times a week.

Qantas Group’s former subsidiary Australian Airlines previously operated Cairns – Sapporo New Chitose service from November 2004 to January 2006, while Qantas Mainline previously served Sapporo from October 1992 to October 1997.
