AIA proudly presents its Mascot!
On the occasion of the airport’s 15th birthday, Athens International Airport presented its newest member… and a friend: “Philos the Athenian” (“Philos” means “friend” in Greek) is the airport’s mascot, bringing extra smiles to the travelling experience!
AIA’s mascot is a vivid and moving multi-task communication tool that will perform the following :
- Be the brand ambassador (welcoming passengers)
- Function as a representative in social activities ( CSR, social events etc.)
- Entertain and relax passengers & visitors
- Promote services
- Contribute to the events, competitions & other promotional activities
- De-pressurize passengers’ anxiety during peak days & holidays
- Be a live “link” to the Greek civilization in a contemporary way
