A great recent development for the Athens airport network: As of September 5, Ryanair launched a daily connection between Athens and Frankfurt, on B737-800 (189 seats).
Frankfurt, a world city and a global hub for commerce, culture, education, tourism and transportation, was served until now only by Lufthansa and Aegean.
