First look at 2018 traffic
January: +6.5% passengers, +4.8% flights
During January, the airport’s passenger traffic continued the successful course of the previous year, achieving a robust increase of 6.5% and reaching 1.28 million. Although domestic travellers presented a small decline (of 3.2%), due to the reduction of the offered capacity in the domestic flights, international passengers demonstrated a strong growth of 12%formulating the overall outcome.
Flights during January amounted to 12,471, demonstrating a healthy rise of 4.8%. Domestic flights presented a small decline compared to the 2017 levels (-1.6%), while international services showed a strong increase of 9.5%.
