Great news continue for our market, as WIZZ announced a new Ath – Kiyv service, double weekly, this summer period!
WIZZ, a new entrant for 2018 will operate in total to 8 destinations out of Athens, namely Kutaisi, Budapest, Vilnius, Chisinau, Katowice, Cluj, London (LTN) & Kyiv, offering 24 weekly departures.
Also, Kiyv is a fast developing market for Athens with 132,000 PAX for 2018, maintaining 2017 high level of volume. (Aggregate growth since 2013 at 130%)
We are excited with this new development and we will continue supporting our airline partners in their developmental plans out of Athens!
Tip: The specific route has a significant 27% share of VFR traffic, while average Load Factors in 2018 were at 79%
