A strong April: +6.5%

During April 2019, the airport’s passenger traffic recorded a robust increase of 6.5% and almost reached 2 million (1.98). Domestic air travellers presented a slim increase (+0.5%), while international passengers demonstrated a strong growth at the level of 9.1%.

Overall, during the first four months of 2019, the airport’s passenger traffic reached 6.36 million, exceeding prior-year levels by a robust 8.5%, with both domestic and international traffic seeing considerable increase of 6.3% and 9.6%, respectively.

Respectively, number of flights during the first four months of the year, amounted to 57,714, demonstrating a considerable rise of 7.2%. Domestic flights presented a strong rise of 12.3%, while international services also showed a healthy increase of 3.9%.
