September rising..

During September 2019, the airport’s passenger traffic recorded a robust increase of 5.1% and reached 2.69 million.  International passengers demonstrated a strong growth at the level of 8.6%, while domestic air travellers presented a small reduction of 2.1%. Overall, during the period January through September 2019, the airport’s passenger traffic almost reached 20 million (19.97 million), exceeding respective 2018 levels by 6.5%, with both domestic and international traffic seeing increases of 1.6% and 8.8% respectively.

Number of flights during the first nine months of the year amounted to 177,096, demonstrating a considerable rise of 5%. Domestic and international flights presented growth of 7% and 3.6%, respectively.
