Athens : Air Canada is Back for Summer 2022
In 2022, Air Canada will offer the most extended season ever, from the 28th of March to 21st of November
On the 28th of March, Athens International Airport organized an inauguration event, welcoming Air Canada’s first flight for the season, earlier than ever before.
Air Canada returned to Athens, connecting the Capital of Greece to Montreal and Toronto with up to daily service in the Summer.
Air Canada flights from Athens to Toronto and Montreal are operated onboard the mainline B777-300ER aircraft, accommodating 450 passengers, with a choice of three classes of service.
Philos the Athenian, Athens International Airport mascot, welcomed passengers and crew at the gate area where local delights were offered. With the opportunity of the inaugural flight, Athens International Airport also celebrated the 80 years of friendship between both countries with high level delegation from the Canadian Embassy joining the event.
