Endurance Aquabike - European championship in the Algarve

The Algarve welcomes the races for the 8th consecutive year.

The marina of Portimão in teh Algarve will be the host once again to  the European Championship UIM Aquabike Endurance and the "Grand Prix of Portugal" the European Endurance of Aquabikes between the 24th and the 26th of April.


It is the eighth consecutive year the city hosts the international day of Endurance in jet-skiing. The format will be the same as in 2014, open only to European titles in the categories of GP1, GP2, GP3 and Veterans, with the completion of 25 120 minutes for water scooters, and other sleeve on the 26th lasting 180 minutes.


The main paddock will be located at the waterfront, where the confirmation of entries will start on Friday (24), from 15.00 to 21.00, to the race office, located at the Naval Club of Portimão, leaving the next day for the respective checks security and the usual meeting of pilots scheduled for 12:00 at the headquarters of Clube Naval de Portimão.
After the preparations on Saturday (April 25), the departure of jet skis will be given in Praia da Rocha, 15.30, towards Carvoeiro, returning to the direction of the beach do Vau, Praia da Rocha beach Marina and Carvoeiro, a total of 120 minutes of pure adrenaline, with refueling and change of pilots made on the beach of Marina.


On Sunday (April 26), the start of water scooters, will be around 11:30 for 180 minutes between the beach and the Marina Alvor, leaving the ceremony awards ceremony scheduled for 16:00, the Clube Naval de Portimão.


In proof will be represented athletes from many countries, some of which are national champions in Endurance mode.
