Adrenaline on four wheels in the Algarve

The Autodromo Internacional do Algarve has an exciting calendar of events for 2015

This weekend will see for the first time the TCR international series taking place at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve (AIA).
The event created by Marcello Lotti, is more available option for private pilots and national competitions than several generations of cars in the WTCC.
Big names will be present, including veterans with experience in the WTCC, such Gianni Morbidelli, Franz Engstler, Michel Nykjaer and Jordi Gené, dedicated pilots coming from other categories, including Andrea Belicchi, and rising stars, some of touring car racing ( Pepe Oriola, Oscar Nogues) and other single-seater (Sergey Afanasiev) and single-brand trophies (the championship leader Stefano Comini and Lorenzo Veglia and Jordi Oriola).
The Algarve round will be the first to have a Portuguese driver at the outset, as José Monroy, which this year plans to devote more to endurance racing, has already confirmed his presence in the SEAT Leon of Ebullio Spearhavoc Racing Team. The program also includes the second round of the National Speed Championship.
The AIA will also be host for the first time to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship which ditched the race at Moscow Raceway to join the Blacpain Sprint Series support bill in the Algarve track between the 4th and the 6th of September.
