ANA Cargo to create hub in Okinawa

ANA Group on 23JUN07 revealed its plan to create a cargo hub in Okinawa.

The plan is to be launched from 2010, which all cargo service to South East Asia be making a stop in Okinawa.

It’s plan for FY2010 will see doubling the frequencies compared to 2007. Okinawa to cities served in Asia will have 105 weekly flights while domestic flights will have 56 weekly flights. All domestic flight services will be transported around midnight hours to Okinawa, and heads to their destinations in the morning.

The proposal, will see a creation of new cargo terminal building in Fall 2008. Additional requirements including 24 hours custom services will also be introduced, with the assistance by national government.
