Edelweiss schedules new Trans-Atlantic route launch in 2018

Swiss leisure carrier Edelweiss today (05JUL17) announced planned Trans-Atlantic service expansion for 2018, including 3 new long-haul routes. Planned service as follow.

Zurich – Denver eff 04JUN18 2 weekly
WK016/LX8016 ZRH1320 – 1635DEN 333 5
WK016/LX8016 ZRH1715 – 2030DEN 333 1

WK017/LX8017 DEN1805 – 1155+1ZRH 333 5
WK017/LX8017 DEN2200 – 1550+1ZRH 333 1

Zurich – Orlando eff 16JAN18 1 weekly (schedule listed below for this route effective 16JAN18 – 10MAR18)
WK008/LX8008 ZRH1340 – 1835MCO 333 2
WK009/LX8009 MCO2025 – 1125+1ZRH 333 2

This route will be temporary suspended from 21MAR18 to 07JUN18. Service operates on Fridays when it resumes operation from 08JUN18.

Zurich – Varadero eff 16JUL18 1 weekly
WK038/LX8038 ZRH1720 – 2205VRA 343 1
WK039/LX8039 VRA2355 – 1540+1ZRH 343 1

Other long-haul service increase during peak season in summer 2018 (vs 2017) as follow:
Zurich – Punta Cana Increase from 2 to 3 weekly
Zurich – Vancouver Increase from 3 to 4 weekly
