Air Canada expands Western Canada service in W18

Air Canada yesterday (07MAR18) announced planned service expansion in Western Canada for winter 2018/19 season, where majority of current service operated by rouge will move to Mainline. Planned service as follows.

Calgary – Cancun eff 27OCT18 Mainline 737 MAX 8 replaces rouge 767, 2 weekly. (3 weekly from 18DEC18, identical to W17)
Calgary – Kahului eff 28OCT18 Mainline 737 MAX 8 replaces rouge 767, 3 weekly. 4th weekly from 17DEC18
Calgary – Los Cabos
28OCT18 – 28APR19 Increase from 1 to 3 weekly, A320
Calgary – Palm Springs 28OCT18 – 30APR19 1 daily A320, new route
Calgary – Phoenix eff 28OCT18 1 daily Mainline A320, replacing rouge A319
Vancouver – Honolulu eff 28OCT18 11 weekly Mainline 737 MAX 8 (14 weekly from 20DEC18), replacing 1 daily rouge 767
Vancouver – Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo eff 01NOV18 1 weekly Mainline 737 MAX 8 (3 weekly from 15DEC18), replacing 1 weekly rouge 767
Vancouver – Kahului eff 28OCT18 10 weekly Mainline 737 MAX 8 (14 weekly from 16DEC18), replacing 1 daily rouge 767
