Turkish Airlines in this week’s schedule update opened reservation for flights operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, set to enter long-haul service in the 3rd quarter of 2019. Additionally, this week’s schedule update also sees the airline assigning Boeing 787-9 on Istanbul – Bogota – Panama City – Istanbul route, effective 10SEP19.
Planned increase from 3 to 4 weekly remains unchanged.

Previously reported on Airlineroute, the Star Alliance member’s planned 787-9 service to date includes the following:
Istanbul – Atlanta eff 10SEP19 5 weekly
Istanbul – Denpasar eff 17JUL19 3 weekly 787-9 (1 daily form 08AUG19)
Istanbul – Washington Dulles eff 08AUG19 1 daily
Atlanta and Washington Dulles has been listed as Boeing 787 destination since August 2018, however actual booking did not switch from A330 to 787 until this week.
