Since 2019 Madeira Airport grows from 3,2 million to 4,6 million passengers in 2023. In 2023 the average load factor was 85%. Since 2019, Madeira Airport has added more than 16 new direct destinations, 6 new airlines and a Ryanair base!

4.      Two islands to visit

Flying to the archipelago is the opportunity to choose between the green of Madeira Island or the sandy and gold small island of Porto Santo.

Porto Santo Airport received in 2023, more than 246.000 passengers, being 77% from mainland, 9% from UK and 8% from Denmark.
