Monarch expands its network to Madeira
Monarch airlines which currently flies to Madeira from London Gatwick and Birmingham will add Manchester-Funchal to its route network.
The flights will be held twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. This new operation represents a total increase of over 23 thousand seats.
This new route is part of Monarch's expansion plan to Portugal which also includes an increase from the current three to four weekly frequencies in the route London Gatwick-Madeira and three new routes to Lisbon from Birmingham, Manchester and London Gatwick.
