Germania Ups the Ante for the Beginning of Summer: New Routes from Berlin-Tegel
BERLIN – 02 May 2018 – Independent airline Germania is once again adding new routes and offering more travel options from Berlin-Tegel. In addition to the 19 destinations that can already be reached, the Greek island of Samos will be served every Friday from June. Germania is also offering a flight connection to the Armenian capital Yerevan for the very first time. From June, the flights depart every Saturday. Increases are additionally scheduled for the coming winter: Germania will add to its extensive Canaries program with a weekly flight to La Palma every Tuesday and double the number of flights to the Isle of Flowers – Madeira/Funchal. The flights will depart on Mondays and Fridays.
Since May, the airline, which has recently been awarded by TripAdvisor, will be operating 35 times a week from Berlin-Tegel Airport. Three A319 aircraft are permanently stationed at the city airport, with two other Boeing-type aircraft at the Schönefeld location. Germania flies to 14 destinations from there, 26 weekly flights are being operated. The range of routes on offer include numerous holiday destinations in Spain, Greece and Turkey among others. Germania also connects the German capital with Tel Aviv, Tehran and Beirut and offers flights to Portugal, Egypt and Cyprus.
