Travelling to Bogota

All travellers, including Colombian citizens, must adhere to Colombia's immigration policies while entering or leaving the country. Besides carrying a valid passport, the Colombian Check-Mig is a crucial requirement that all passengers must present upon arrival or departure.
Fill out the immigration registration form 72 hours before your trip or up to one hour before.
CheckMig is not a visa or an entry permit. The visa policy for Colombia is distinct from the CheckMig requirements.
Vaccines
There are no requirements to present vaccination certificates or COVID-19 test results to enter Colombia.

Weather
Colombia's climate may surprise foreign visitors with its consistency throughout the year, thanks to the country's location on the Equator. The sun rises and sets at the same time all year round, and the season remains the same, unlike most other countries. The dry season occurs from December to January and July to August, while the rainy season takes place from April to May and October to November. However, the weather patterns are not the same across the country due to Colombia's topographical diversity, which results in a vast range of landscapes, biodiversity, and thermal floors.
Electricity
In Colombia, you'll find the following power outlets: flat 2-prong sockets or sockets with a third, round prong. But don't worry; it's easy to find power adapters and voltage regulators at any hardware store or department store.
Bear in mind that the domestic power supply in Colombia is 110 volts of alternating current or 60 hertz (110V AC, 60Hz).
