The 19th century Baronial style castle, lies on the lower east side of Cave Hill, which is thought to be the inspiration behind Jonathan Swift’s 'Gulliver’s Travels'. Visit this famous landmark, for great views of the city of Belfast and Belfast Lough.

Botanic Gardens

Explore Belfast’s Victorian heritage in this 28 acre majestic green setting, featuring an early example of a curvilinear cast iron glasshouse.  Along with a relaxing walk, be sure to visit the Ulster Museum located inside the Gardens.

Alexandra Graving Dock

Alexandra Graving Dock

Named after the Princess of Wales in 1885, the Alexandra Graving Dock is home to the HMS Caroline. Visit the dock and explore the battleship believed sole survivor of the World War I, Battle of Jutland.
