National Cultural Complex
Acquainting visitors with the rich history, culture and art of the Kazakh people, the Ethnoaul National Cultural Complex is a unique cultural, tourist and image project of the EXPO-2017.
Atameken
Atameken, otherwise known as the Map of Kazakhstan, is an ethno-memorial complex and unique open-air museum, representing 1.7 hectares of city attractions and historical monuments of Kazakhstan.
National Museum
The National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the youngest and largest museum in Central Asia. Along with 6 independent halls, each with their own subject, the museum hosts a centre for children's creativity, restoration workshops, a scientific library with a reading room and much more.
Saken Seyfullin Museum
The Seyfullin Museum consists of six rooms filled with the history of different periods of the namesake poet’s life. The life of Saken Seifullin and his social activities are characterized by more than 5,000 exhibits. Visitors can see photos portraying the poet’s muses, favourite books, manuscripts and more.
Astana Opera Theatre
The Astana Opera Theatre impresses with its magnificence. On architectural perfection, it is not inferior to the famous opera houses of the world, such as La Scala in Milan, the Royal Theater in Madrid and the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
Astana Ballet
The Astana Ballet Theater was founded in 2012 on the initiative of the First President of Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev. The backbone of the troupe consisted of the best graduates of the Almaty Ballet School of A. Seleznev.
