SWISS to relaunch Delhi, Shanghai and Beijing

SWISS on 01JUN07 announced it’ll relaunch Delhi, Shanghai and Beijing during the course of next 2 years.

Delhi, previously operated in code-share operation with Air Canada, will be relaunched with A330-200 on daily basis from 2007/08 Winter schedule

LX146 ZRH1230 – 0035+DEL
LX147 DEL0200 – 0625ZRH

Shanghai, currently served as codeshare via Munich with Lufthansa, will be relaunched with A340-300 on daily basis from 2008 Summer schedule

LX188 ZRH1305 – 0635+PVG
LX189 PVG0930 – 1540ZRH

Flight times are coordinated with Lufthansa, giving traveller more flexibility.

Moreover, Beijing will also be served effective 2009 summer timetable.

Additional arrivals of 2 A330s and 1 A340 this summer, and 2 more A340s to be delivered in Spring 2008, contributes the expansion.
