The Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC) is nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rocky mountains in the South-East corner of British Columbia. It is within a two hour drive of a number of world class ski resorts and the region is one of Canada's pre-eminent destinations for golf. The region is also internationally renowned for its abundant fishing locales.

Between 2005 and 2009, annual passenger growth has increased from 85,329 to just over 105,000.
