Ethiopian adds Istanbul; Resumes Moscow from Nov 2018

Ethiopian Airlines during this past week’s schedule updated opened reservation to Turkey and Russia, which sees the airline offers Addis Ababa – Istanbul – Moscow Sheremetyevo route. From 15NOV18, Boeing 787-8 aircraft will serve this route 4 times a week.

This also marks the airline’s return to Moscow, where it previously served until May 1991. Operation in summer 1991 season was Addis Ababa – Cairo – Athens – Moscow Sheremetyevo, 1 weekly Boeing 727/767.

The airline does not have local traffic rights on Istanbul – Moscow sector.
