Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) has a remarkable 75-year history, with dramatic changes occurring over the years to become a driver of economic growth in the region, without ever losing sight of the principle that guides them: Passenger first®.
YQB’s story took off on November 1, 2000, when Transport Canada transferred the management, operation, maintenance, and development of the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport to a private non-profit organization, Aéroport de Québec inc.

It guides and leads tourism industry growth and contributes to industry prosperity through its marketing and development efforts, hospitality services for tourists, and information to the industry.
